HOLY MONASTERY

OF SPILIA

MONASTERY RELICS

ACCORDING TO EXISTING EVIDENCE, IN THE HOLY MONASTERY OF SPILIA HAS BEEN KEPT AN IMPORTANT NUMBER OF HOLY RELICS OF VARIOUS SAINTS OF OUR CHURCH

characteristic examples are the relics of Saint Apostle Barnabas, Charalampos, Athanasios and Ioasaph the Meteorites, Konstantinos Kapouas, and others. Unfortunately, when the fraternal order of the Holy Monastery undertook the administration of the Monastery in 2004, nothing of the aforementioned Holy Relics was found and no information was given regarding their fate. Since the relics constitute a fount of God's grace that they spread in abundance to those who kiss them with faith, craving was the desire of the Holy Monastery to get the Holy Relics again for the blessing of the fathers and the numerous pilgrims.
